Jet Aviation has signed an agreement with ForeFlight, a Boeing company, to use their flight planning software. ForeFlight Dispatch will be rolled out across the Jet Aviation global managed fleet.
The agreement builds upon Jet Aviation’s current utilization of Boeing’s digital solutions, including Jeppesen charts, NavData and FliteDeck Pro, by introducing ForeFlight Dispatch as the primary flight-planning platform for Jet Aviation. The tool centralizes all flight planning on a single platform with capabilities including flexible operational rules for adapting to unique operational needs.
“The tool allows us to provide increased visibility on flight data for both the planner and the pilot, automating many parts of the process and integrating into a crew app and the aircraft software to provide a seamless plan,” says David Best, senior vice president and general manager the Americas.
ForeFlight Dispatch produces EUROCONTROL-valid routes with speed and flexibility, efficiently transmitting finished flights to pilots, complete with detailed briefing documents available to review right away.
“We are excited to strengthen our relationship with Jet Aviation,” said Tim Schuetze, CEO of ForeFlight. “With its global presence and diverse fleet, Jet Aviation’s embrace of ForeFlight Dispatch demonstrates significant foresight as the future of business aviation relies on seamlessly integrated, cloud-based solutions. We’re excited to continue our work with the Jet Aviation team to deliver exceptional value to their operation and pilots.”
