Bombardier announced at the beginning of July that it will offer optional head-up display and enhanced vision system on Challenger 350 business jets. These systems will enhance the avionics capabilities of the aircraft in combination with the weather radar MultiScan, which will ultimately reduce the workload of pilots and thus increase the overall situational awareness. The head-up display will allow pilots to fly while keeping their gaze forward during all phases of the flight, especially at the crucial moments of take-off and landing. With this system, which provides flight information on the head-up display’s transparent screen, pilots can react more accurately, while simultaneously evaluating their overall environment.
