Nomad Technics successfully provided AOG support to an operator of a Bombardier Global 6000 at Zurich’s International Airport.

On Friday late evening Nomad Technics received an AOG call from the customer that their Global 6000 was in a non-flyable condition. The team arrived two hours later from Basel at the International Airport of Zurich/Switzerland. Nomad Technics’ engineers did locate the fault and re-set the electric system. After two hours of work the aircraft was handed-over to the client at midnight, ready for an early 6 o’clock Saturday morning departure.

„We are proud that we have completed the AOG event on the Bombardier Global 6000 jet with an extremely short reaction time on Friday night”, says Heinz Koehli, Executive Chairman of Nomad Aviation. „Thanks to the flexibility of the engineers and the short communication channels we could rectify the defect to the full satisfaction of the customer. This enabled him to use his aircraft as planned”, adds Roman Hug, VP/General Manager of Nomad Technics.
