Winch Design announced the delivery of a complete end-to-end Bombardier Global 5000 refurbishment, transforming a ten-year-old standard business jet into a unique individual interior statement. The brief from the client was to take the dated original aircraft cabin and create a bright and characterful space, personal to the client.
The large art feature wall on the aft bulkhead was the starting point of the concept and is the standout element of the expressive new interior. The piece was commissioned as an original artwork painted directly onto the aircraft bulkhead.
Drawing individual colours from the art piece, the interior then combines a mix of subtle geometry in the custom tufted carpet and embossed stitched leather bulkheads. In addition, the seats are completely re-styled using high quality leathers to introduce a distinctly fresh and lighter feel to the cabin.
The aircraft was completed with the interior installation and maintenance carried out by Bombardier UK, and all interior cabin refurbishment by the AeroVisto team in Switzerland.
