The Munich based company Lilium is producing the world’s first all-electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) jet. Lilium is one of the world’s leading pioneers in sustainable air mobility and aims to significantly reduce the environmental impact of air transport. As the de-carbonization of aviation is both urgent and inevitable, Lilium is working to transform the way people move.

The Lilium Jet will take off and land vertically like a helicopter and fly efficiently like a plane. With the jet, private individuals can commute more often to downtown, golf clubs and mountain resorts – saving time in the order of hours, not minutes. Moreover, the piloted aircraft can use an existing helipad so that there´s no need to build large scale infrastructure.

Lilium now takes orders for this limited edition and will start the commercial production and launch of its jets immediately following type certification which is planned for the end of 2025.

The Pioneer Edition Lilium Jet will have a best-in-class spacious cabin, with exclusive modules to fit the personal needs of the passengers. The Jet will have a generous trunk volume in the back, accessible from the cabin, that can fit up to 6 carry-on luggage, while there will be space for three golf bags in the storage area behind the last row seats. Furthermore it offers a high level of customization options including a plug-in sky bar module and other multi-functional modules to allow passengers to create their personal touch.

Customers of Lilium’s Pioneer Edition will be invited for milestone events at the company’s headquarters, its flight test facility, and the first landing sites. At the headquarters they could for example have a look at the design studio and the finishing atelier. Lilium now takes orders for the Pioneer Edition at a $10 million USD list price. Immediately following type certification which is planned for the end of 2025, Lilium will start the commercial production and launch of its jets.
