Belgrade-based Prince Aviation, the first private air operator in Southeast Europe, has once again earned the prestigious WYVERN Wingman PRO certification — reaffirming its steadfast commitment to safety, compliance, and operational excellence.

Established in 1990, Prince Aviation continues to set the benchmark for the region’s business aviation sector, maintaining elite status through its ongoing participation in WYVERN’s Flight Leader Program (FLP). The Wingman PRO certification — the highest safety standard in the aviation industry — validates an organization’s safety culture through advanced evaluation tools recognized by regulators and safety experts worldwide.

“We received the Wyvern Level 4 SMS certificate almost three years ago, then we were certified under the Wingman Pro certificate, which we have now successfully renewed. We are proud to be the first ones in Europe to receive it,” said Milica Djurdjevic, Safety, Compliance, and Security Manager at Prince Aviation.
“We anticipate safety risks, set standards beyond legal minimums, innovate while maintaining compliance, and prioritize rigorous training for pilots and technical staff. Most importantly, we cultivate a company-wide safety culture where every employee is aligned toward our paramount goal: safety.”

The WYVERN Wingman PRO distinction is awarded only to operators who demonstrate exceptional Safety Management System (SMS) performance, effectively address Human Factors and Organizational Safety Culture, and maintain continuous conformity with international standards through robust internal auditing.

“We congratulate Prince Aviation on renewing their Wingman PRO certification — a clear demonstration of their commitment to safety, operational excellence, and proactive aircraft maintenance,” said Andrew Day, Senior Vice President of Operations at WYVERN.
