Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. recently named Angie Amberg director of global external communications. In her new role, Amberg will lead external communications and manage Gulfstream’s media relations, social media and marketing quality assurance teams. Amberg reports to Jeannine Haas, Gulfstream’s senior vice president and chief marketing officer.
“Angie brings a wealth of impressive knowledge and invaluable experience to Gulfstream’s communications team,” said Haas. “She will play a pivotal role leading our efforts to share Gulfstream’s achievements and business priorities with our customers and partners around the world and ensuring their experiences are on par with the industry-leading Gulfstream brand.”
Amberg has more than two decades of experience in media and public relations on both the client and agency side across financial services, consumer products and entertainment industries. Most recently, she was head of global brand marketing and corporate communications at Cardlytics, a marketing technology and analytics firm.
Additionally, Amberg has held various communications leadership roles with Truist Bank, FleishmanHillard and Cushman/Amberg Communications, Inc. She received her Bachelor of Arts in marketing from McKendree University and a Master of Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis.
