The Nice Carnival, the most important winter event on the Côte d’Azur, is in full swing until 2nd March.
During two weeks of festivities, the city comes to life with colorful parades during the day and at night. Lots of floats decorated under this year’s ‘King of the oceans’ theme, parade to the rhythm of street art troupes and musical groups from different backgrounds, in a colorful and festive family atmosphere.
Located on the famous Promenade des Anglais Renée Restaurant is hosting a rare exhibit of several art pieces by contemporary artist Guillaume Cavalier. The Nice-born 30-something graduate from The Nice School is the second artist to be invited to showcase his work under the patronage of Unlimited Art Space gallery. The energy and rich cultural life of the Carnival is vibrantly illustrated in his paintings. Gastronomy and creativity are thus invited to collaborate in an intimate setting.
