ExecuJet, part of the Luxaviation Group, announced this summer that it will be the first business aviation company to operate and manage a Pilatus PC-24 “Super Versatile Jet” in Africa. The aircraft will be based in South Africa at Cape Town International Airport. ExecuJet will be responsible for its day-to-day management and operations on behalf of the owner of the aircraft.
The jet will also be available for lease and will provide customers with the latest technological advances in entertainment and in-flight connectivity. With six passengers departing from Cape Town, the aircraft can reach Angola, Zambia, Malawi and Mozambique. From ExecuJet’s business terminal at Lanseria International Airport in Johannesburg, passengers can reach the DRC, Tanzania, Kenya and Mauritius. For Gavin Kiggen, Vice President of ExecuJet Africa “The African continent is the ideal environment for the PC-24, where the difficult terrain and strips are legion” before adding: “We are honored to be the first Business jet operator to handle this aircraft in the region and we look forward to welcoming the plane when it arrives at our Cape facilities in October. “
