RICH WITH HISTORY AND ENCOUNTERS

Above all, Baumanière is a meeting place. In 1945 Raymond Thuilier bought this traditional Provencal manor that is both rustic and wild. He decided to build this majestic place where dreams take shape and become reality. His dream was to make this place unique. In 1972, the Queen of England spent some time in Baumanière during a trip to Provence. Baumanière is also a “must” in terms of its cuisine. Awarded three times by the Michelin Guide, the L’Oustau restaurant has become a favorite stop for celebrities, intellectuals and artists of all kinds. In the beginning, Raymond Thuilier, the founder of the property, devoted his life and all his energy to the restaurant. His cuisine spans across France and will forever be a part of Baumanière’s history.

A ONE-OF-A-KIND PLACE COMBINING MAGIC, HISTORY AND LUXURY

Baumanière les Baux de Provence is composed of five buildings L’Oustau, La Guigou, Le Manoir, le Mas Flora and le Mas Carita. Each building has a number of rooms and suites allowing you to organize your trip depending on your needs. For example, La Guigou may be fully privatized to become a private residence. Whereas, Le Manoir is located near the spa offers suites with private gardens and private patios, etc. A new feature this year is the 75-square meter Prestige Room which was formed by combining two rooms. It is bright and airy with high ceilings showcasing wooden beams and the view of the gardens and the rocky landscape is breathtaking.

HONE YOUR SENSES AND DISCOVER NEW SKILLS

The outstanding restaurant L’Oustau features recipes based on vegetables grown in Chef Glen Viel’s organic garden. The hotel also has the Le Cabo d’Or restaurant. Enjoy the Provencal cuisine featuring olive oil from the Vallée des Baux from Chef Michel Hulin (since 2001). His cooking is a tribute to the surrounding natural environment. Starting this year the restaurant has created a Chef’s Table that features dishes that are both simple and local showcasing regional products. In the spring and fall, Chef Jean-André Charial holds courses at the L’Oustau de Baumanière and the Cabro d’Or restaurants for you to discover new recipes. For those who wish to learn more or simply discover the secrets of wine, Gilles Ozzello, the head Sommelier of the L’Oustau de Baumanière, welcomes you on Saturday mornings. Baumanière is also a place for rejuvenation and relaxation. The 500 m2 spa overlooking the gardens will immerse you in a world of sublime relaxation. The tasteful decor and modern equipment all contribute to providing you with the best treatments in body and face care. The Hotel Baumanière awaits to offer you an unforgettable holiday amidst the olive trees, sun and warmth of Provence.
