Alpine retreat Aman Le Mélézin will welcome guests from 8 December 2023, offering France’s finest all-round ski experience from its spectacular setting in the coveted heart of Les Trois Vallées, just moments from Courchevel 1850. As much a culinary and wellness destination as a renowned ski resort, the hotel presents a host of new offers and unique experiences.
With mountain adventures for all ages – whether tobogganing down to Courchevel Village or taking to the skies with a relaxing hot air balloon or helicopter ride – the resort offers the finest adventures in the region.
New this season, guests can ride through the snow-covered landscapes at dusk on a snowmobile-drawn sledge or horse-drawn carriage to Les Prés de la Croix, where a traditional Savoyard dinner of cheese fondue awaits beside a roaring log fire in a picture postcard mountain chalet. A bespoke five- course menu created by a private chef can also be arranged on Friday evenings. Children can play games in the chalet’s mezzanine or sled beneath the stars before the homeward journey by toboggan or snowbike to La Tania, followed by a car-transfer back to the hotel.
Moonbiking provides an off-piste adventure through the snow-dusted mountainside at Pralong Farm on ultra-light electric snowbikes, experiencing the surrounding landscapes in silence.
For advanced skiers, a ski instructor takes First Tracks guests to the highest point on the mountain where panoramas of Mont Blanc and La Grande Casse await. Then it’s down the legendary ski run ‘La Combe de la Saulire’ for a breathtaking solo glide.
