AMAC Aerospace continues to welcome several Boeing wide-body aircraft to its hangars in Basel, Switzerland. Two recently completed maintenance projects involved a BBJ 777 and a BBJ 787.
The BBJ 777, operated by a head of state and belonging to a long-term customer, underwent 1A, 2A, 6A, 2C and 4C inspections, in addition to several modifications. The work included the replacement of water solenoid valves, removal of medical equipment, updates to the technical documentation, and the installation of a Starlink satcom system.
The BBJ 787 visited AMAC Aerospace for the first time and underwent an A3 inspection. The customer expressed strong satisfaction with the support received and has already scheduled a return visit, stating: “Thank you very much for the CRS and the great work on our aircraft during this check. It was a pleasure to work with all of you and we look forward to continuing in the future.”
