After a four-year hiatus, the International Paris Air Show in Le Bourget, France, is back from the 19-25 June, and SolarStratos and HB-SXA will be present at the event. The SolarStratos mission will have a strong presence at the 54th edition of the show with the electric and solar aircraft on display, and support from Presence Suisse and the Cantons of Vaud and Neuchâtel. With a 600sqm exhibition area hosted by Raphaël Domjan, the pilot, and the SolarStratos team, the pioneering Swiss organization will be rubbing shoulders with global industry leaders and set among some of the latest technological innovations.

HB-SXA will be on display to the public and there are plans for a demonstration flight that will provide a great promotional opportunity for electric aviation and solar energy and its potential for a sustainable low-carbon future.

The event, which attracts many leaders and personalities from all over the world, is reserved for industry professionals for the first four days, and open to the public for the final three.

Visitors to the SolarStratos stand will discover the technical and technological challenges that the mission faces – including its 2023 ambition to set a high-altitude record – to demonstrate the potential of solar energy and promote the research and development of sustainable and inspiring projects for the younger generation. To be able to promote the mission’s objectives at such a show is a boost for the mission and all its partners.
