Margrit Waltz – one of the world’s most experienced ferry pilots – is scheduled to leave France tomorrow with a Daher TBM 940 very fast turboprop aircraft for delivery to Muncie Aviation in the U.S. state of Indiana.
This will be her 900th ferry flight of general aviation airplanes, with her activity beginning in 1976 for several distributors and aircraft manufacturers.
She was one of the first pilots to ferry a TBM-family airplane across the Atlantic Ocean on behalf of Daher. Since 1991, Waltz has delivered more than 200 TBMs to the North American market.
During the past 30 years, Waltz has been closely associated with the TBM success story, and Daher is very honored that her milestone 900th Atlantic Ocean crossing is performed with a TBM 940.
