Jet Aviation has successfully completed two simultaneous C-Checks on Gulfstream GVs at its Dubai center. This 192-month checklist is a detailed inspection that requires inspection of most components of the aircraft. In order to make the most of downtime, the two C-checks were combined with a number of service bulletins, including engine changes and minor overhauls, along with structural corrosion repairs on one of the planes. “Undertaking two projects of this size at once is a huge undertaking that requires a lot of skill and organization,” said Hardy Butschi, Vice President of Regional Operations for Jet Aviation in the Middle East and Chief Executive of Dubai, before adding: “Thousands of hours of work were spent on completing both projects on time, to the great satisfaction of both clients.” Jet Aviation also has a maintenance station at Al Maktoum International Airport in South Dubai.
