Jet Aviation announced in September 2018 that it had finalized the acquisition of KLM Jet Center, a leading full service provider of FBO / Handling at Amsterdam and Rotterdam international airports of. This acquisition of KLM Jet Center represents an important step in strengthening Jet Aviation’s position in the niche market of business terminals in Europe. For Jet Aviation President Rob Smith, “Amsterdam and Rotterdam are very attractive destinations for business jet owners and operators. Both terminals support more than 7,500 movements per year and provide connectivity to Jet Aviation’s network customers. Edwin Niemöller, who has been Director of the KLM Jet Center for more than a decade, will continue to manage the terminals in Amsterdam and Rotterdam. The acquisition of the two KLM Jet Center FBOs, which will become Jet Aviation-branded facilities next October 2018, brings to 34 the global FBO network of the General Dynamics subsidiary.
