Following the termination of the Silvercrest contract, at the end of the Falcon 5X program and the launch of the new Falcon 6X program, Dassault Aviation and Safran initiated discussions leading to the signing of an amicable agreement ending their dispute over the Silvercrest engine that was intended to equip the Falcon 5X. As part of this agreement, Dassault Aviation will receive an indemnity from Safran in the amount of $ 280 million, the other commercial terms of the program that were applicable to the Silvercrest contract not being affected, including cash contributions already paid by Safran; these factors will have a positive impact on Dassault Aviation’s 2018 results. In addition, Dassault Aviation and Safran Group’s partners in the Falcon 6X have signed equipment supply agreements for this new program.
