Textron Aviaiton has announced it has been granted certification for the midsize Cessna Citation Latitude by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) and the Civil Aviation Safety Authority of Australia (CASA), with the region’s first deliveries underway.
“We are pleased to offer the Citation Latitude, the best-selling midsize business jet in the industry, to the Asia-Pacific market,” said Jessica Pruss, president, Asia Pacific Sales and Marketing. “The Latitude is especially appealing to individual owners and charter operators in the region due to its unprecedented cabin comfort and best-in-class operating costs, combined with the range and performance required for regional missions.”
With the addition of these two new certifications, the Latitude is now certified in 43 countries around the world. The global fleet has surpassed 100 aircraft and 60,000 flight hours since entering service in August 2015.
