Avfuel has announced C.R. Sincock, II, executive vice president for Avfuel, and president and CEO for sister company, Avflight, was elected to serve a second term as board member for the National Air Transportation Association.
The three-year appointment renewal represents an immense honor as Sincock continues to serve the aviation industry, bringing his companies’ expertise to the table to serve the larger good. As board member, Sincock offers unique operational and logistical expertise, and provides guidance on initiatives at the forefront of Avfuel and Avflight’s values, including sustainability advancements in the aviation industry.
Sincock provides extensive leadership experience, and is dedicated to helping NATA build on its achievements while responding proactively to aviation business legislation and regulatory issues.
“The work NATA accomplishes on behalf of our industry is pivotal for the continued growth of aviation and the connections it facilitates globally,” said Sincock.
Since his initial appointment in 2021, Sincock has focused—in his various positions—on technology enhancements to improve the customer experience, international expansion and the introduction of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) into the marketplace.
Sincock graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Harvard College with an A.B. in economics, and earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in 2013. Outside the energy sector, Sincock is the founding investor and senior strategic advisor at Kriya Therapeutics, a leading gene therapy company developing long-term cures for chronic diseases. His robust background provides a strong foundation for his work as an active NATA board member.
NATA represents nearly 3,700 aviation businesses and provides a wide range of services to general aviation, the airlines and the military. Additionally, it serves as the public policy group representing the interests of aviation businesses before Congress and federal agencies.
