At the beginning of December, AMAC Aerospace completed maintenance on a Boeing B737 from a long-term commercial customer. The aircraft underwent a 12-year inspection at AMAC Aerospace’s hangar in Bodrum, Turkey.

The scope of maintenance included forward and aft wet area inspections, galley and lavatory removal and installation, dry area inspections, seat belt modification and fuel tank access tasks.

All maintenance tasks were successfully completed in accordance with approved procedures and regulatory requirements. AMAC Aerospace’s Bodrum team also succeeded in releasing the aircraft eight days ahead of the planned schedule, including new NRCs (non-routine cards), and the customer expressed great satisfaction with the early redelivery.

In early November, AMAC Aerospace conducted a two-month inspection of a Dassault Falcon 2000EX EASy, accompanied by flight control tasks at the hangars in Istanbul, Turkey.

The flight crew reported that the radio altimeter system occasionally issued warnings. As a result, AMAC Aerospace’s skilled team performed operational tests and replaced the radio altimeter antennas as a precautionary measure.

A failure was also reported in the bleed air supply system, where one of the pressure-reducing valves was found not to be closing properly. The team replaced the component, clearing the fault.

Finally, the team carried out hydraulic, oxygen and nitrogen servicing, along with additional scheduled airframe tasks.
