José Costa, holds a MSc in Aeronautical Engineering from the Portuguese Air Force Academy and his career encompasses key roles such as Fleet Manager for the Portuguese Air Force, Director of Airworthiness and Maintenance at CAE Inc, and the first EASA CAMO Post-holder for EMBRAER Executive Jets.
Costa’s legacy and influence persist in the aerospace industry in all companies and countries where he has worked. He brings to Airways Aviation a robust professional background, marked by extensive international experience in Defense and leading Aerospace OEMs. His previous roles have consistently placed him in positions of technical management responsibility, where he has played a crucial lead role representing organizations and fostering connections with customers and suppliers worldwide.
His commitment to excellence is evident in the successful reshaping of operational models, negotiation of ground-breaking contracts, and pioneering of digitalization initiatives. As Costa navigates the aerospace realm, he remains dedicated to advancing industry standards and shaping a dynamic future.
