In 2018, Comlux maintained a steady stream of customers in the maintenance sector but also earned four new operators, including three US-based BBJs and one BBJ2 in the Middle East. In parallel with the growth of the maintenance activity, Comlux simultaneously realized the commercial accomodation of a BBJ and an A330-200 while preparing for the upcoming arrival of the first BBJ Max 8 and the ACJ320neo.
In addition to scheduled maintenance operations, much of the work done in 2018 included several cabin modifications and avionics upgrades. For example, Comlux has equipped a BBJ with Collins Aerospace’s VenueTM complete cabin management system.
In late 2017, Comlux Completion launched the Comlux 3.0 initiative within the company to improve the “Engineering Luxury” services by technological equipment upgrade, employee training and research and development investments.
The service side includes the provision of digital maintenance tools, via wireless tablets and barcode readers for task tracking and spare parts.
