Piazzetta Ripetta at the 5* Palazzo Ripetta is set to become a true destination in the city this summer.
Set within the central courtyard of the 17th century Palazzo, Piazzetta Ripetta is a hidden refuge from the fast-paced city life. The terracotta brickwork is contrasted by the rich greenery with splashes of yellow from the lemon trees. As the sun beams in from above hidden corners allow to escape the heat of the day under a parasol. The trickling of water from fountains formed of ancient Roman troughs forms a backdrop to any occasion, from long lunches, a treat of a coffee break to a fabulous dinner on a warm summer evening.
The menu at Piazzetta Ripetta changes throughout the day. This includes light lunches with crisp salads and fresh seafood. As the evening draws in, a tempting menu of ‘cicchetti’ for aperitif may be followed with generous plates of delicatessen and gourmet dishes for diner. These include classic Polpetta alla romana, seabream tartare and Pallotta “cacio e ova”.
Sunday brunches offer the perfect chance to slow down and reconnect with loved ones. The broad menu of ready-prepared plates includes the most artful of pastry dishes.
Alongside its dining options, Piazzetta Ripetta has earned a solid reputation for its beverages and mixology. Inspired by the great classics of Italian aperitifs, these are revisited in exciting ways. The signature menu is embellished by the quality of ingredients, imaginative flavors and the mastery of the bartenders. This summer current cocktails at Palazzo Ripetta include ‘Bouquet’, with Aperol, rose buds, ibiscus, geranium and sparkling wine and ‘Zabaylòn‘, Witch Reviver, Negroni 3.0, White Negroni, Spicy Mangorita, and Breakfast Campari’.
