Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. has announced the first customer delivery of its G800, completed at the company’s Appleton, Wisconsin completions facility.
The milestone comes just weeks after the aircraft achieved dual certification from the FAA and EASA on April 16, confirming its enhanced performance capabilities.
“We have seen astounding demand for the G800, and the entire Gulfstream team is excited to begin making deliveries to our customers,” said Mark Burns, president, Gulfstream. “The G800 is entering service with extraordinary program maturity, just like the G700 before it. We look forward to customers around the world experiencing the aircraft’s remarkable capabilities and cabin comfort.”
Key highlights of the G800:
- Range & performance: 8,200 nm / 15,186 km at Mach 0.85; 7,000 nm / 12,964 km at Mach 0.90; 8,000 nm / 14,816 km at Mach 0.87.
- Speed: Maximum operating speed of Mach 0.935, up from Mach 0.925.
- Cabin features: Industry’s lowest cabin altitude (2,840 ft / 866 m at 41,000 ft), 100% fresh air, plasma ionization air purification, and 16 Panoramic Oval Windows.
- Configuration flexibility: Up to four living areas, or three plus a dedicated crew compartment.
Gulfstream’s Appleton site includes large-cabin completions operations, a custom-designed paint hangar which opened in 2023 and can accommodate up to 48 aircraft a year, and a modernized Gulfstream Customer Support maintenance, repair and overhaul facility.
