The final day of CARIBAVIA in Saint Barth was dedicated to celebrating Girls in Aviation, highlighting the importance of inspiring the next generation of female aviation professionals.

On June 13th 2025, at the Saint Barth Commuter base at the airport, 16 local girls aged 8 to 16 participated in the Girls in Aviation Day initiative, organized by Women in Aviation International. The event aimed to encourage local youth—especially girls—to explore careers in aviation and aerospace, acknowledging the Caribbean’s strong reliance on air transport.

The girls enjoyed engaging, age-appropriate experiences, including meeting women aviation professionals, participating in hands-on educational activities, and receiving T-shirts, backpacks, and activity kits designed to spark their interest in aviation.

Once again, Girls in Aviation Day provided a fun, inspiring, and interactive experience for local girls, connecting them with female role models in aviation and igniting their passion for the industry—all within the Caribbean context, where regional connectivity plays a vital role.

« It’s very important to get more ladies into aviation in different careers, not only as pilots but also in maintenance and all the other fantastic careers, » said Cdr Bud, founder Caribavia.

A special thanks to Bertrand Magras, General Manager, and his sister Stéphanie, COO, for hosting the event at their facilities and showcasing one of their aircraft to inspire the next generation of aviation professionals.

A Deliveries of HPU 210s are targeted to begin late 2026.
