Starting mid-June 2019, AMAC Aerospace will partially refurbish the cabin interior of a 737 BBJ at its Basel facility in Switzerland.
These works will include the installation of new high-definition monitors, displays and panels and a KA tape system based on an existing Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) developed by AMAC Aerospace.
This system, which offers a broadband connection, allows to use Internet services as transparently as on the ground. In addition, a new IFE system (In-Flight Entertainment) will be installed on the BBJ to allow wireless broadcasting on all devices used by passengers (iPad, laptop, etc.).
