Honda Aircraft Company announced in late April that its subsidiary HondaJet China (Honsan General Aviation Co., Ltd.) will expand its operations at the terminal of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (FBO). The announcement was made at the Asian Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition (ABACE) in Shanghai, China. HondaJet China has signed an agreement with Yitong Business Aviation Service Co, a subsidiary of the Guangdong Airport Authority, for an 8,800 m2 expansion of its facility at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport. The new facility will have a terminal and a dedicated service area for up to 20 HondaJets. It should be completed by mid-2019. The site will also host FlightJoy Aviation Co, a newly created company that will charter and manage HondaJet aircraft throughout China. During the announcement, the CEO of Honsan General Aviation Co, Ltd., Zhou Yuxi, said he was “pleased to announce the expansion of HondaJet China at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport.
