Acropolis Aviation, a UK-based operator, confirmed during Ebace that it selected Rockwell Collins for its cabin management system on its all-new Airbus ACJ320neo, which went into production at Airbus’ Toulouse facility in May. Acropolis is expected to receive the world’s first ACJ320neo in the fourth quarter of 2019. The aircraft will leave the production line in the fourth quarter of 2018 and will be ferried to Basel, Switzerland where AMAC Aerospace will incorporate the cabin layout designed by Alberto Pinto.
According to the operator, the decision to remain loyal to this equipment manufacturer is based, “on a successful relationship that began with the introduction of the Skybox IFE in 2015, until the upgrade of the elements on our Airbus A319CJ registered G -NOAH earlier this year”.
