107 School has launched its first book, “Launching Your Aviation Career,” from certificated flight instructor Meg Godlewski, as an introduction on how to start, or transition to a career in aviation.

Godlewski is a career flight instructor with more than 20 years experience training pilots, and she has conducted more than 5,700 hours of dual instruction.

There are many career options besides that of a pilot—but the author covers becoming one in detail. The 85-page print edition also features detailed instructions on earning a Part 107 certificate to fly drones in commercial operations, whether the person is new to flying or adding the 107 privileges to a certificate.

Godlewski has been recognized as a Gold Seal Instructor from the FAA and as a Master Instructor from both the National Association of Flight Instructors (NAFI) and the Society of Aviation and Flight Educators (SAFE). She has written for multiple aviation publications, including FLYING magazine, and she’s an expert in creating scenario-based simulator training.
