In 2015, Jet Aviation was the first company to take delivery of a Boeing 787-9 for interior accomodations and since 2013, the company has developed significant research efforts to offer its customers expertise and specific methodology to meet the technological requirements of composite airframes aircraft, such as the 787. Thanks to an innovative in-house development, Jet Aviation can accomodate a 787 cabin without modifying the fuselage structure, thus avoiding long and costly interventions. “We are delighted to receive our second 787 for a complete outfitting in Basel,” said Neil Boyle, Jet Aviation Senior VP Global VIP Completions.
