Falcon Aviation presented during the Ebace its new maintenance center at Al Maktoum DWC International Airport. The new Falcon Aviation facilities are under construction on a 24,000 m2 plot that can accommodate up to four single-aisle Boeing BBJ / Airbus ACJ aircraft. It includes workshops, a cleaning area, offices and a 13,000 m2 parking. Falcon Aviation maintains its own fleet of business jets and helicopters at its facilities at Al Bateen Airport in Abu Dhabi and this new Dubai base is built primarily for third-party customers. Falcon Aviation is already in discussion with existing and potential customers to develop its maintenance and repair business (MRO-Mainteance, Repair & Overhaul).
“Our goal during Ebace was to meet the aircraft manufacturers to see how we could support them, and also operators, by adding other types of aircraft to our capabilities,” said Captain Raman Oberoi, COO of Falcon Aviation. Falcon Aviation’s new facility, which has been under construction for 12 months, is at the heart of its long-term global strategy to establish a “one-stop-shop for MRO services” in the region. In addition to the construction of these new infrastructures, Falcon Aviation plans to hire a large number of qualified personnel to support the group’s growth on the DWC site.
