Tuesday 10 March marked a milestone in the history of the French manufacturer Dassault Aviation as the company rolled out its Falcon 10X ultra-long-range, high-speed business jet at its assembly line in Mérignac, near Bordeaux, France. Chairman and CEO Éric Trappier, assisted by manufacturing technicians, led the theatrical unveiling of the fully painted aircraft for the rollout event.

Seating up to eight passengers, the clean-sheet aircraft features high-speed aerodynamics delivering a maximum range of 7,500 nm (13,890 km) and a top speed of Mach 0.925. The Falcon 10X extends the Falcon family’s intercontinental reach, while also offering Dassault’s widest and tallest cabin to date, alongside its 8X, 6X, and 2000XLS siblings.

The Digital Flight Control System on the 10X includes new safety features for business aviation, providing protection from inadvertent upsets and other hazards—technology derived directly from the company’s military aircraft expertise. The composite wing, for example, is based on the Rafale fighter jet.

Another distinctive design element is the horizontal stabilizer, positioned at the top of the tail to optimize high-speed cruise performance. The aircraft is powered by the Rolls-Royce Pearl® 10X engine, delivering more than 18,000 pounds of thrust and representing one of the most advanced business jet engines in the industry.

The Falcon 10X cabin interior is available in four standard configurations. In addition to the Ultimate Edition, featuring four lounge zones, a galley, and a bathroom, customers can choose the Executive Signature, with an ultra-wide conference area; the Grand Residence, offering three lounge zones including a master suite with a large bathroom and spacious dining area; or the Serenity Suite, which includes a bedroom, a private home cinema, and a large bathroom.

With a cabin altitude of 3,000 feet at FL410, new-generation air filtration systems, 38 windows providing abundant natural light, and reduced cabin noise levels, the Falcon 10X is designed to deliver an exceptionally comfortable onboard experience.
