Associated Air Center (AAC), StandardAero’s large transport category completions center, recently redelivered an A319 VVIP aircraft cabin refurbishment and scheduled maintenance for a repeat, longtime Asian customer. AAC designed the new look cabin along with entertainment and seating upgrades.
The installation included a new Rockwell Collins Venue cabin management and entertainment system. AAC technicians also installed ten new Precision Aircraft Components single seats with complete seat amenities including lumbar, heat, full electric operation and retractable armrests. The project also included the installation of a “U shaped” divan that can be operated electronically to both daybed and full queen bed positions. An additional three-place divan was installed that can sleep two passengers.
Scheduled aircraft maintenance included Service Bulletins/Airworthiness Directives compliance and overhaul of the auxiliary power unit (APU). All services took place at AAC facility, located in Dallas Texas.
“Our team worked very closely with this customer to select the latest technologies and materials to modernize the interior and bring the condition of this aircraft up to today’s standards for both passenger comfort, productivity and aircraft operability,” said Tony Brancato, President of AAC.
