JCB Aero, an AMAC Aerospace Company are now operating Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) activities at the hangar in Auch, France, which will allow to further expand services and capabilities to existing and potential new customers.
The 5’000 square meter hangar, fully refreshed, can accommodate up to 3x single aisle aircraft either Airbus or Boeing simultaneously and has already welcomed the first aircraft early October 2024. The preparation of the hangar started in May 2024 and JCB Aero worked tirelessly with AMAC Aerospace Switzerland to be ready in September 2024.
“The launch of the Maintenance, Repair and Overall (MRO) activities is a major step in the development of JCB AERO,” explains Frédéric Dezauzier, Chief Operating Officer, JCB Aero. “The proximity from Airbus in Toulouse is definitely a strong advantage. One of the core business activities of JCB AERO is high end cabin design and production, the customers will find the perfect place for cabin refurbishment while the maintenance of their aircraft is happening, here in Auch, France.”
A new maintenance team has been recruited for the MRO activities at JCB AERO, Auch, France. Further recruitment is underway to be able to provide an additional team of 20 to 30 employees. The hangar has also been equipped with new tool stores, offices for the staff and external offices for client representatives.
