AURA AERO has secured the first firm order for its 19-seat hybrid-electric regional aircraft ERA, with Pan Européenne Air Service (PEAS).

The French operator has supported AURA AERO and the ERA program since its inception, demonstrating strong confidence in the manufacturer’s vision and technological progress. As the first airline to place a firm order, Pan Européenne reinforces its position as a pioneer in decarbonized aviation, following its recent participation in electric flight tests with INTEGRAL E.

This commitment represents an important milestone for both the airline and the ERA program, marking the transition from development to implementation, driven by close collaboration and a shared ambition to accelerate the decarbonization of regional aviation.

Headquartered in Chambéry and Lyon, Pan Européenne Air Service has specialized in customized business flights for nearly 50 years. The airline operates a fleet of five Embraer aircraft (ranging from 5 to 49 seats) and serves up to 500 destinations across Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East. The company aims to become one of the first operators worldwide to carry paying passengers on a hybrid-electric aircraft.

Founded in 2018, AURA AERO is based at Toulouse‑Francazal Airport and employs nearly 250 people. Having secured both design and production approvals, the company continues to strengthen its position as a fully recognized aircraft manufacturer.
