Gulfstream Aerospace announced on October 1 that it has acquired the Nordam Group production line that produces nacelles for the Gulfstream G500 and Gulfstream G600 models. Gulfstream had been operating the Tulsa, Oklahoma-based line since early September 2018 as part of an agreement with Nordam following its July 2018 bankruptcy. A US bankruptcy judge approved the transfer on September 26, 2018, allowing Gulfstream to finalize the acquisition. This agreement filed by Nordam in a Delaware court, allowed Gulfstream to restart the manufacturing program and allowed for the eventually to transfer the assets to its Savannah, Georgia facilities.
